Hi.

I’m Sophie. Mum, founder, deep thinker, big feeler and strengths champion.

I’m an executive, leadership and career coach, and change, capability & culture consultant. I bring together first-hand experience of commercial leadership, consulting and coaching to help people craft better careers and organisations create meaningful change.

I grew up in the world of FMCG brand marketing, working for global businesses including Mars and Danone and progressing into Marketing Director roles.

I loved marketing. Being at the heart of the business, getting my teeth stuck into strategic challenges and traversing the creative and commercial to deliver tangible (and beautiful!) business results.

But what I loved even more was leading teams to create success. Building compelling visions that people believed in, developing people and cultivating cultures where individual and collective impact could flourish.

That experience ultimately led me to coaching and consulting, and in 2021 I founded kharaktēr with a mission to help people craft better careers and better businesses. Ones built from the inside out; grounded in who you are, what matters to you and how you want to make your mark.

Today, I partner with experienced professionals and leaders through coaching, and with organisations through culture and change consulting. My approach is bespoke and strengths-centred, helping you understand what makes you unique, build on what energises you and turn your potential into meaningful impact.

I’m a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation, hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Business and Personal Coaching from the University of Chester, and am a Strengthscope® Strengths Coach.
